HSI's Personal Protective Equipment Fundamentals

This course provides essential training on the proper selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participants will learn to identify workplace hazards, understand OSHA requirements, and choose appropriate PPE to protect against injuries and illnesses. The course covers key topics such as respiratory protection, eye and face protection, hearing conservation, hand and foot safety, and proper care and disposal of equipment.

 

This training ensures compliance with workplace safety regulations and fosters a culture of safety to reduce risks and promote employee well-being.

The purpose of this lesson is to provide workers with high level knowledge and skills regarding general PPE, as commonly required by regulatory agencies..

 

No in-person skills evaluation is required for this course. It is presented as online-only and distributed as a blended course.

Upon successful completion of the online course, a Certificate of Online Training will be issued. The course is one credit per individual.

If you purchase a book through our webpage and it has not been issued to you yet, Central Valley Medical will be happy to refund the amount or arrange a pickup.

No opened books may be returned or refunded. Books may not be issued during class and then returned. Books may not be shared—this is per American Heart Association guidelines. Each student must have their own current book to attend class.
