HSI First Aid CPR AED

HSI First Aid is a classroom course that is designed to meet OSHA regulations. 
The course teaches basic first aid skills such as: 

  • Stopping bleeding that can be seen 
  • Helping someone with a possible broken bone or sprain 
  • Making sure the scene is safe 


Audience
The course provides employee training for: 

  • Individuals needing credentialed training for job or regulatory requirements 
  • Select departments or an entire workplace 


Course Content
• Adult first aid 
(first aid basics, medical emergencies and injury emergencies) 
• Optional module: Environmental emergencies 

Certification
The HSI First Aid Course Completion Card is valid for two years. 
During the course, an HSI Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their first aid skills practice. 


HSI CPR AED is a classroom course that teaches basic CPR and AED skills such as: 

  • Giving CPR to an infant, child, or an adult 
  • Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) 
  • The course provides employee training for: 
  •  Designated first responders 
  • Individuals needing credentialed training for job or regulatory requirements 
  • Select departments or an entire workplace 


The HSI CPR AED Course Completion Card is valid for two years. 

During the course, an HSI Instructor conducts video-based lessons and works with students to complete their CPR and AED skills practice and skills testing.

BOOK POLICY

If you purchase a book through our web page and it has not been issued to you yet, Central Valley Medical will be more than happy to refund you the amount you paid for the book, or you may arrange to come by our office and pick it up. No opened books may be returned or refunded for any reason. Books may not be issued during the course and then returned for a refund, Including if they have been unopened. Books may also not be shared during the course; this is against American Heart Association rules and guidelines. Each student must have their own current book; this is per AHA rules in order to attend an AHA course and is not a Central Valley Medical rule.
