You MUST have the TNCC 9th Edition Provider Manual to attend the class and complete the online final exam. This is the latest edition—no other version will be accepted.

📌 All course modules must be completed at least 48 hours before class begins.

This course is for RNs who have active provider status or have been expired for 1 to 6 months. You may only take this course if it falls within 6 months of your expiration date. After 6 months of expiration, the ENA requires students to take the Full Course.

Course Format

A variety of learning methodologies are included to cater to every learning style, including:

  • The addition of “The LGBTQ+ Trauma Patient” chapter.

 

Textbook: The latest edition of the TNCC Trauma Nursing Core Course Provider Manual includes evidence-based content developed by trauma emergency experts. The 21-chapter, comprehensive manual is a compilation of current trauma nursing standards and a valuable resource for future reference.

Online learning: Online modules with links to additional information are provided prior to the course date to let you learn at your own pace, apply what you learn and receive immediate feedback, and refer back to information at any time. The modules are a complete case study process — taking you through an entire sequence of care.

Live simulation: TNCC includes hands-on training using both an individual and a team approach.  Trauma nursing process psychomotor skills stations offer you the opportunity to practice trauma patient assessments and interventions in a controlled environment.

Instructor-led classroom discussions and skill stations: TNCC is a one-day intensive course taught by expert instructors.

 

ATTENTION: All course requirements including course modules and any precourse work must be complete 72 hours before the start of class. Students that don't complete their requirements before the deadline will be dropped from the class and no refund will be issued. Communication with your instructor must be a priority in order to succeed in this course, please reply to e-mails as you receive them.

 EMERGENCY NURSES ASSOCIATION

The Emergency Nurses Association is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. The Emergency Nurses Association is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #2322.

 


Refund Policy

Full payment of $260 and a book fee of $80.00 are required in order to secure a spot in the TNCC Course. Space is limited. To ensure individuals that need the class get in, payment is non-refundable & non-transferable no exceptions. Once you submit payment for the class, your spot is reserved and logged with the TNCC Course Administrator. If you do not show up to the first day or are late, your spot will be dropped! If it's impossible to attend your paid class, you are allowed to sell your spot to another student that you recruit on your own (name must be submitted to our training center 1 week before class at the latest.)

Pre-Course TNCC Assignments
The TNCC Course NOW has pre-course requirements. This pre-course requirement is a set of required modules and MUST be completed before attending. View the TNCC Book 9th edition and being familiarized with the information.  The TNCC 9th edition is mandatory prior to class, all other editions are not acceptable for this course.

Testing/Evaluation
Successful completion of the course includes scoring 80% or greater on the multiple-choice examination and demonstrating all critical steps and 70% of the total points in the evaluated skill station � the Trauma Nursing Process. If a student does not pass the TNCC Course, no refund will be provided, and no free retakes allowed. In order to take the class again a non-passing fee of $260.00 is required in order to enroll in the next available class. Must be present in class and testing attempted in order for the fee to apply.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all main methods of payments: VISA, Mastercard, and Debit cards.

Do you offer both online classes?

We only offer in-person training for our courses at this time.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds. Please refer to our cancelation and refund policy on our website here

What If I forgot My ENA Password?

If you have forgotten your ENA password for TNCC or ENPC; you must reset it on the ENA's website.

What is your Refund Policy? Can I get a refund if I do not pass the Wound Care Certification Exam?

Full access to our Wound Care Certification program is granted and remains valid for a 4-month period once you created an account, registered, and paid for the program. You'll be able to retake the certification exam up to three times in a 4-month period in order to score 70% or higher and obtain wound care certification.

Due to the nature and availability of course content all sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

What is the difference between the Wound Care Certification Program and the 30 CEU Wound Care Management Course?

All programs and curriculums are recognized and approved nationwide by the California Board of Registered Nursing and the California Board of Vocational/Practical Nursing and meet nursing license renewal requirements and all 50 states.

Wound Care Certification is by the SNF Wound Care Wound Learning Academy and is valid for two years upon successful completion of the program and passing of the certification exam.

The differences between the 30 CEU Wound Care Management Course and the Wound Care Certification program include: the 30 CEU Wound Care Management course does not require passing a final certification exam at the end of the curriculum.

You will receive only a certificate of completion of 30 CEU and Wound Care Management upon course completion for RN and LVN/LPN license renewal requirements.  You will not obtained Wound Care Certification by the Wound Care Learning Academy, unless you upgrade your purchase to the Wound Care Certification Program at which point you will be required to successfully pass the wound care certification exam.

How long do I have access to course materials in order to prepare for the Wound Care Certification exam?

You will have access to the online portal and course materials for a 4-month period. If you wish to extend your access after this period, Please email info@snfwoundcare.com. If you obtain the course for free with a coupon, you only have 30-day access.

How do I get a verification of my nursing license?

You can get a verification of your nursing license by going to https://search.dca.ca.gov/  and searching for name

What is the pass rate for the Wound Care Certification Exam? How many times can I take the Wound Care Certification exam in order to pass?

Candidates must or 70% or higher on the Wound Care exam in order to pass and received Wound Care Certification. We have over 90% pass rate. Candidates have the opportunity to retake the online Wound Care Certification exam up to three times within a four month period in order to obtain a score of 70% or higher , and receive their Wound Care Certification.

Do I need to re-certify my Wound Care Certification?

Wound Care Certification must be renewed every two years for a renewal fee of $179.99 and successful completion of the recertification exam

How will I receive a Wound Care Certified Badge?

Candidates who successfully complete our Wound Care Certification Program will receive a digital Wound Care Certificate, along with a complementary Wound Care Certified identification badge, with 2-4 weeks of successful completion.

Wound Care Certified identification badges are mailed out to the candidates. They are personalized with your name, picture, nursing license number, wound care, certification, number, and validity date.

Who is eligible to obtain Wound Care Certification and CEU Credits?

Wound Learning Academy is designed to improve the quality of care in the wound care community, and prepare all healthcare professionals to perform at the highest level of care across all settings. Wound care certification is open to all Allied Medical professionals in the wound care industry looking to further their wound care, knowledge, and recognition.
