ENPC-Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC)

The ENPC course teaches nurses how to assess a child with acute illness or injury accurately requires special knowledge and skills. This course, taught by qualified emergency nurses, provides the core-level pediatric knowledge and psychomotor skills needed to properly assess and implement evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes for this high-risk patient population.

Textbook: The newly released 6th Edition provides fundamental pediatric emergency nursing content with expanded information, including dermatologic and environmental emergencies, human trafficking, food allergies, and more. A valuable resource for future reference!

Online modules: Online modules with links to additional information are provided before the course date to let you learn at your own pace, apply what you learn and receive immediate feedback, and refer back to information at any time. The modules are a complete case study process — taking you through an entire sequence of care.

Patient experience videos: Learn from pediatric patients and their caregivers about real-life scenarios

Instructor-led classroom discussions and skills stations: ENPC is one and a half days of interactive, in-person (or virtual) classroom learning that includes hands-on skill stations, games, and other interactive exercises

Electronic testing: NEW! Electronic, open-book testing allows you to test in the most comfortable environment. No more test anxiety!

This course is recommended but not required for RN’s who have never taken TNCC or ENPC before; however, any nurse may take any version of the TNCC or ENPC.

Prerequisites

  • Participants must be an RN and possess a current unrestricted nursing license to receive the verification.
  • LPNs and paramedics are eligible to attend all course portions except for the written and psychomotor evaluations. For this reason, they do not receive verification but are awarded contact hours.

 

ATTENTION: All course requirements, including course modules and any precourse work, must be completed 72 hours before the start of class. Students that don't complete their requirements before the deadline will be dropped from the class, and no refund will be issued. Communication with your instructor must be a priority to succeed in this course; please reply to e-mails as you receive them.

What If I forgot My ENA Password?

If you have forgotten your ENA password for TNCC or ENPC; you must reset it on the ENA's website.

What is your Refund Policy? Can I get a refund if I do not pass the Wound Care Certification Exam?

Full access to our Wound Care Certification program is granted and remains valid for a 4-month period once you created an account, registered, and paid for the program. You'll be able to retake the certification exam up to three times in a 4-month period in order to score 70% or higher and obtain wound care certification.

Due to the nature and availability of course content all sales are final. We do not offer refunds.

What is the difference between the Wound Care Certification Program and the 30 CEU Wound Care Management Course?

All programs and curriculums are recognized and approved nationwide by the California Board of Registered Nursing and the California Board of Vocational/Practical Nursing and meet nursing license renewal requirements and all 50 states.

Wound Care Certification is by the SNF Wound Care Wound Learning Academy and is valid for two years upon successful completion of the program and passing of the certification exam.

The differences between the 30 CEU Wound Care Management Course and the Wound Care Certification program include: the 30 CEU Wound Care Management course does not require passing a final certification exam at the end of the curriculum.

You will receive only a certificate of completion of 30 CEU and Wound Care Management upon course completion for RN and LVN/LPN license renewal requirements.  You will not obtained Wound Care Certification by the Wound Care Learning Academy, unless you upgrade your purchase to the Wound Care Certification Program at which point you will be required to successfully pass the wound care certification exam.

How long do I have access to course materials in order to prepare for the Wound Care Certification exam?

You will have access to the online portal and course materials for a 4-month period. If you wish to extend your access after this period, Please email info@snfwoundcare.com. If you obtain the course for free with a coupon, you only have 30-day access.

How do I get a verification of my nursing license?

You can get a verification of your nursing license by going to https://search.dca.ca.gov/  and searching for name

What is the pass rate for the Wound Care Certification Exam? How many times can I take the Wound Care Certification exam in order to pass?

Candidates must or 70% or higher on the Wound Care exam in order to pass and received Wound Care Certification. We have over 90% pass rate. Candidates have the opportunity to retake the online Wound Care Certification exam up to three times within a four month period in order to obtain a score of 70% or higher , and receive their Wound Care Certification.

Do I need to re-certify my Wound Care Certification?

Wound Care Certification must be renewed every two years for a renewal fee of $179.99 and successful completion of the recertification exam

How will I receive a Wound Care Certified Badge?

Candidates who successfully complete our Wound Care Certification Program will receive a digital Wound Care Certificate, along with a complementary Wound Care Certified identification badge, with 2-4 weeks of successful completion.

Wound Care Certified identification badges are mailed out to the candidates. They are personalized with your name, picture, nursing license number, wound care, certification, number, and validity date.

Who is eligible to obtain Wound Care Certification and CEU Credits?

Wound Learning Academy is designed to improve the quality of care in the wound care community, and prepare all healthcare professionals to perform at the highest level of care across all settings. Wound care certification is open to all Allied Medical professionals in the wound care industry looking to further their wound care, knowledge, and recognition.
